This what we class as an ex-demo unit and may show signs of usage externally but because of the extensive replacement parts used in upgrading the unit.

However, the unit has been fully stripped and professionally refurbished by the seller (who is both well known and regarded on the Tacx Flux Owners Group on FaceBook) and has had the following replacement parts irrespective of condition:

- NEW TENSION ARM FITTED (6082T6 CNC Billet Aluminium replacement for original plastic arm so the unit will NOT fail mechanically from use as so many original units suffered from)
- NEW BELT FITTED (Higher quality specification than the OEM belt in that is is more supple and compliant and capable of wrapping around the small 25 mm. flywheel pulley)
- NEW BEARINGS FITTED (ALL bearings have been replaced with SKF bearings - the market leader in roller bearing technology. The tensioner pulley, main flywheel and large pulley bearings to deal better with the loads imposed).
- ITEM IS ALSO SUPPLIED WITH NEW TACX QR SKEWER

all replaced to ensure perfect working order and absolute piece of mind for the purchaser.

If you do choose to buy elsewhere, please bear in mind that FaceBook group where I can be contacted to purchase a replacement arm and even offer a full service on your Flux if it turns out to be suffering from the usual issues.

I am so confident of my upgrade and workmanship that we are happy to guarantee the unit from any mechanical failure (electronics failure covered for 12 months) for a period of 2 years irrespective of mileage ridden. You should retain the original packaging for 2 years in the unlikely event that you need to return the item. This warranty is offered on a return-to-base basis. This warranty is not transferable.
Item may or may not be supplied in original retail box but will be dispatched in appropriate packaging to ensure safe delivery.

You will require a 8 mm. hex (allen) key to secure the legs to the main unit.

Compatibility: Shimano/SRAM/Campagnolo compatible freehub pre-fitted and is suitable for 8-11 speed bikes. Optional 12 speed kit available from Tacx. 8, 9 and 10 speed cassettes will require the use of a standard 1 mm. cassette spacer shim (not supplied).

Ideal smart trainer for Zwift utilising Bluetooth & ANT+ connections opening up whole new virtual worlds of cycling!

When connecting via Bluetooth, you will need to disable ANT+ in the Tacx Training app and ensure that your Wi-Fi network not congested to prevent dropouts. Dropouts are not an issue with the unit. The Flux is only capable of connecting to one Bluetooth device at a time. ANT+ is the most reliable connection. Personally, I use Bluetooth with an Apple TV 4K linked to an HD TV without issues. Advice on this is readily available on the FaceBook Group which is both friendly and informative.
Do training programmes or link to your tablet or PC to enter and compete in the virtual world.

This will take anything you throw at it. Capable of resisting up to 1500W power, emulating upto 10% incline with power accuracy of less than 3%.

They are a great entry level direct drive trainer. We usually have a varied mix of brands in including Elite if this is not to your taste.

Perhaps most importantly I will be on hand to help you get setup once you receive the unit. Though you will be responsible for ensuring that your setup is capable of running whichever training app you wish to use with the unit.

Personally, I use Zwift. Some people use Training Road. Some use RGT. Some just use their Garmin head unit with training programmes load on.
