It is suitable for oral (mouth), axillary (under arm) and rectal (anal) measurements.

Thermometer beeps 12 times in 2 seconds when a temperature above 37.5degC is detected and beeps only 4 times when the body temperature is ideal.

Temperature display in degrees Celsius (not sure if can be changed to Fahrenheit) digitally on the LCD display.

When measuring the thermometer gives an acoustic signal.

The last measured value will be stored automatically and indicated at start-up.
